Our Quality Program

TAS is proud to demonstrate its commitment to quality for the design, manufacture, distribution and service of packaged chilling plants from its U.S. manufacturing operations center of excellence, located in Houston, Texas, U.S.A. This commitment extends to the continual improvement of quality and products to assure our customer's expectations are met.
Det Norske Veritas (DNV) has certified the TAS Quality Management System to the ISO 9001:2000 Standard, with no clause exceptions.
TAS has fully implemented the ISO standards throughout its business processes such that our customers' requirements are met through our sales, proposal, engineering & design, project management, purchasing, manufacturing and aftermarket service processes. This commitment to quality allows TAS to produce the high quality products and engineered solutions that meet our customers' needs while continuing to develop new products and solutions that can meet future expectations.
TAS has committed to a continuous improvement process utilizing the structure that the ISO 9001:2000 certification provides.
Some Specific functions of the TAS Quality Management System are:
- Internal tracking and documentation of provisions for customer specification reviews, design verification, drawing issuance (both internal and external), drawing revision tracking and post delivery documentation archive.
- Verification that materials required from project planning through final assembly provides the required quality of form and function based on the design and specifications.
- Provides for the traceability of quality documentation from suppliers as well as supplier approvals and dates of re-evaluation via direct inspection and review of supplier quality.
- Provides for the traceability of product from project inception through after-market service. Engineering and design data tracking, as well as post delivery information tracking is provided for design and production improvement opportunities and challenges, while customer and supplier communication, both internal and external, provide for increased customer satisfaction.
